Hourly Rates

OVERVIEW

The fees below cover most of the filming and editing service options that AMM provide. Amm have two rates for any and all video productions.

The most cost effective rate we can provide is subject to the client directing the filming, editing or Multimedia production. AMM staff will work under the client's direction. The client will be responsible for the production of the end product. AMM staff will be responsible for operating of the Filming, Editing, or Multimedia Production equipment.

FILMING CHARGES:

Option 1 filming

For video productions where you, the client, want to hire AVS to film as per your instructions we charge £65 hour. (Recommended for clients who already have an understanding of video production) An AMM member of staff will offer no input into the decision making process, as we are there merely to produce an end product as per the instructions of the client. Minimum hire charge of half a day.

Option 2 filming

For video productions where you want to hire AMM to film and direct, we charge £90 per hour, for a two-man crew. (Recommended for clients who have very little knowledge of video production) For shoots where a two-man crew is not required, or where filming takes place in one static area, we can offer a reduced rate of £80. (The client will be expected to assist in the setting up and the carrying of any equipment for the duration of the shoot) Minimum hire charge of half a day.
Filming equipment:

The kit we provide is a Broadcast video filming camera, including microphone and tripod. Lighting is also included along with a TV monitor.

Extra equipment:

We can also supply any other equipment such as: Radio Microphones - Tracks - Steadicam etc. These extras will be charged as per your requirements.

EDITING CHARGES:

Option 1 edit

The client will instruct the editor to edit each and every scene. The client will be responsible for all editorial decisions. £60 an hour for non-linear editing system and editor.

Option 2 edit

£80 per hour for non-linear editing system and editor. For this option, the editor will edit the video from an agreed script. The editor will be responsible for all editorial decisions in conjunction with the client. (The client can choose to be present or not present for this type of edit)

NB: The editor will work to a script that has been approved and will not be subject to any changes or amendments. If changes or amendments are requested by the client at a later date this will incur extra costs to the client.

3D GRAPHICS CHARGES:

2D & 3D Computer Graphics are charged at £65 per hour for computer graphics where AVS work to the clients instructions. This service is recommended to clients who want the most competitive price, and who have experience in video production and Computer Graphics production. It is not recommended to clients who are new to video production, as you will be responsible for all editorial decisions.

For 2D or 3D Graphics where AVS are responsible for all editorial decisions we charge £75 per hour.

MULTI MEDIA WORK:

Clients who want to create their own DVDs. Interactive DVDs. CD ROMs. Interactive CD ROMs. Power Point Presentations, etc. AMM charge £65 per hour. Once again the lowest price relates to the direction of this task left entirely with the client.

Where AMM create a bespoke product for the client for any of the above multimedia products we charge £75 per hour.

CLIENT TRAINING:

Many clients have invested in their own filming equipment, which they use to record footage in their place of work. Should the client wish to improve upon the quality of their footage and filming techniques, AMM can provide an on-site filming training session to suit the client's requirements.

We charge £195 for a half-day 4 hour training session or £395 for a 7.5 hour day. The training session will use the client's own filming equipment and tape stock.
